Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Akgbebaku, has demanded immediate withdrawal of his name and the Edo State House of Assembly from suit against elected local government Chairmen in Edo State.
The demand notice signed by R.O. Isenalumhe & Co., did not only ask for the immediate withdrawal of Speaker Akgbebaku's name and Edo State House of Assembly, it demanded "a written apology for the embarrassment caused to him and the Edo State House of Assembly".
This latest development further exposes the brazen illegality surrounding acting Chairmanship, for which the Edo State House of Assembly and Mr. Speaker, do not want to be seen associated with.
