The police authority in the country have declared wanted one Otoide Ernest 'm' 28 years following his escape from prison custody.
Otiode who was declared wanted in 2013 for invading lawful arrest by the police, it would be recalled was caught with his partner, one Osas Steve indulging in gay practice, an act prohibited by the Nigerian Law.
Osas was later gathered to have committed suicide while in prison custody on December, 2016.
It was learnt that the suspect who had ran to Europe apparently for safety was arrested by the police at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos after been deported from Europe in May 2018.
According to the police, upon his arrest at the airport, the suspect (Otiode Ernest), was arraigned in court where he was remanded at the Oko prison.
However, following a heavy fight between inmates in the Oko Correctional facility (prison) in Benin City which led to the jail break recently, Ernest and several other inmates reportedly escaped from the prison custody.
The Police, was said to have appealed to members of the public who may have useful information that would lead to the arrest of Otiode Ernest to approach any security formation in the country, as such information would be treated in strict confidentiality.
This is even as one million (N1,000,000.00) reward await such infomant according to authorities of the police.
