The Executive Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government, Dr. Eric Osayande has intensified the ongoing 1000-chair distribution to Primary Schools in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area
The Council Boss has reiterared his determination to sufficiently equip the four (4) new Primary Schools built by his administration and other schools; the schools are Ikpoba Primary School Ward 1, Avbiama Primary School Ward 5, Obazagbon Primary School Ward 8 and Ogbekpen Primary School Ward 9
Two Hundred (200) double-seater chairs has been distributed to Avbiama Primary School Monday amidst wild jubilation by the pupils; this underlines Osayande's policy trust at developing primary education in the Local Government Area
While receiving the chairs this afternoon, the School Headmistress revealed that the 200 chairs will go a long way to provide comfort for the pupils and improve the educational standard of Avbiama Primary School
The HM said "with the provision of these chairs, we are confident that our children will find comfort in their various classes; furthermore, the standard of education will now improve because the environment is now more conducive for learning; we are really very grateful to Mr. Chairman for his people-oriented leadership; we promise to protect the chairs against any form of damage"
The distribution of chairs forms part of the Osayande-led administration's 1000-chair continuous distribution exercise to Primary Schools in the LGA, for which Ikpoba Primary School, Obazagbon Primary School, Idogbo Primary School, Ogbekpen Primary School, Iyi-Ewuare Primary School and latest in the series, Avbiama Primary School have received chairs
