The senate ADHOC committee has assured the Benin monarch Omo N'Oba Ewuare II of its total fairness in its fact finding mission to Edo state with a view to amicably resolve the lingering crisis rocking Edo house of Assembly.
Speaking to jornalists in Benin at the end of its meeting with the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, the other 10 members of state house of assembly and the monarch said they in Benin to make sure peace returns to the state .
The seven man committee which was led by its chairman, Senator Aliu Abdulahi gave the assurance at the palace of the Oba in Benin city, Edo state capital.
The committee chair stressed that in line with the house rules and the constitution of the federal republic of the Nigeria, the senate president, Senator Ammad Lawa was keen at ensuring absolute sanity at the various houses of assembly across the nation.
While advocating for peace across the country, Senator Abulahi advised Nigerians to be law abiding in their daily activities.

On his part the Benin monarch Omo N'Oba Ewuare the second expressed no doubt over the senate ADHOC committee to discharge it's duties without fear or favour, maintaining that the palace is key at ensuring that lasting peace reign in the current face- off in Edo assembly

The royal father however prayed God and the ancestors to restore peace and tranquility in the state and the nation at Large.
While in a recent development the house of representative have ordered the state governor, Godwin Obaseki to to issue a fresh proclamation letter for the inauguration of all the 24 members elect.
