OVN WARNS EDO DISSIDENT MEMBERS-ELECT AGINST ABUSE OF MANDATES

Crusaderhotnews

The Obaseki Volunteer Network, OVN, has sent a stern warning to 10 members-elect to refrain from blackmailing the governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki.

A statement issued by the leader of the group, Comrade Solomon Okoduwa on Thursday 11th July, 2019, described the members elect as self-centred, saying “they are acting the script of their pay master who is desperate to dictate the operation of the state.

He warned the members elect not to abuse the mandate given to them by their constituents assuring that the group which has members across the three senatorial districts will join forces with their constituents to recall them if they continue to fight for their pocket against the interest of those who elected them.

Okoduwa said the members-elect who now hangout in Abuja like prodigal sons should return home saying “their sins will be forgiven by the governor.”

He said they should not be clog in the wheel of progress, according to him, “Governor Obaseki is working and he should not be distracted.

Any attempt to create more issues for the governor will be resisted by Edo youths. All members of OVN across the state are ready.... They should not take us for granted. And they should not take the people who gave them the mandate for granted”
