Congratulations to all our Edo State brothers on their various Federal Government appointments so far.
I want to use this medium to thank God Almighty, our Ancestors and our great Oba of Benin Kingdom for his fatherly role so far to ensure that our struggle for the betterment of the people is not in vain.
To Dr Osagie Ehanire, you have been a Minister of State for Health under the present APC Federal Government for 4 years and you don't have any report card to show but you are now a full time Federal Minister of Health, we are watching and waiting to see how you intend to affect your Constituency..................Congratulations.
To Clem Agba, one of the recent Minister of State........ You were in Comrade Adams Oshiomhole Government for 8-years and you did your best but it was not good enough because the Benin Storm Water Project which a huge loan sum of over N30 Billion Naira borrowed was used Failed under the watch of Adams Oshiomhole and yourself. This is another opportunity to prove yourself that you are not what I think you are, take your mind back to my first personal engagement with you in your office in 2013. We are watching and waiting to see your report card in the nearest future.................Congratulations.
To Dr Pius Odubu, you were in the Federal House of Representatives for 8 years representing Orhiomwon Federal Constituency and 8 years as Deputy Governor to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and your Orhiomwon LGA masses of the people did not really feel your impact in terms of infrastructure cum human development according to the words of your people. As you well know, I am not afraid of saying the truth to anyone no matter what and who is involved, remember how Adams Oshiomhole treated some of us for supporting your Governorship ambition about 4 years ago and I still remember this very word of Adams Oshiomhole to me then "Curtis, I brought you to my government to assist me get Edo State to a next level and Odubu didn't bring you but why are you supporting Odubu against my Candidate (Godwin Obaseki)??? Well I donate you to Odubu" but here we are today and I thank God we are all alive to see this happen.
This is the real time to prove yourself to your people in your Constituents, Edo State people, South South region and Nigeria generally. Let me use this medium to remind you that Orhiomwon LGA house the highest oil wells and gas reserves not only in Niger Delta cum South South region but also in Africa and our Ologbo in Ikpoba Okha LGA house the highest oil wells in Africa, one of the reason we have NPDC Headquarters in Benin City Edo State ; So your recent appointment as NDDC Chairman was long overdue and you can't afford to fail your people again this time.
I am personally watching and waiting to see your report card in few years to come............ Congratulations.
To Chief Victor Ekhator, I still remember the first day I met you in person at the Kings Square some years ago during our anti people cum obnoxious Land use act/bill protest and little did I know then that you are my blood cousin brother but nevertheless, you have been tested as a member of the Edo State Oil and Gas Commission representing Ikpoba Okha LGA under the Adams Oshiomhole Government and you did fairly well for the masses of the people in the LGA and your records are there to see, but your best is not enough and you need to do more.
You must go and prove yourself to your Constituents, Edo State people and Nigeria generally by using your new appointment as NDDC Commissioner representating Edo State as an Oil producing State in Nigeria, if you don't do well I will be the first person to lead a protest with others to RESIST you!!!
To Thomas Okosun, you were in the Edo State House of Assembly as member and Speaker, there is nothing to show or write home about your achievements there in the House and your Constituency with no good report card but with your new appointment you should be able to deliver dividends of your office to your Constituents with a good scorecard this time.
I am personally watching and waiting for you two report cards in the nearest future..............
