In a bid to deepen the Governor Obeseki led administration policies on mental capacity building, as while as domesticating Mr Governor's Agricultural policies at the grassroot level.
The Chairman Ovia North East Local Government Area, Honorable Scott Ogbemudia has commenced the training of interested youths on agricultural enterprises.
The youths who will be trained on different agricultural production at the council secretariat will be trained by professionals and seasoned farmers and Researchers, the Chairman made this known today when he spoke with journalists in his office in Okada.
Speaking on the training program, the Chairman divulged that it was not the first time the council was carrying out such training for residents in the Local government Area when he said,
"his Excellency the Governor has always harp on capacity building and this we have taken seriously here in Ovia North East Local Government Area, moreso the present Government of our great party have countinue to promote and substain empowerment of youths and we at the Grassroots level do not have a choice than to key into such program that will definitely benefit our people by making them finicial independent.
"recently we trained our youths on entrepreneurship, when we partner Edojobs and when we saw the success and willingness of our people to be financially independent we took it upon ourselves to draw out plans to engage our teaming youths and this we want to do constantly as we are also working on how to seek collaboration with the State Government in other to have a robust package after we might have trained those batch" he added .
