...community jubilates over facility ...market women display 4+4 in continuation of Obaseki/Osayande administrations Saturday 30 November, 2019 The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman, Dr. Eric Osayande has commissioned the newly-built Ogheghe Market.
Ogheghe has been conceived, built and completed by his administration; the facility sited in Ward 9 ranks amongst numerous markets built by the Osayande-led administration since assumption of duty March 2018 Other markets include but not limited to Dumez Road Market Ward 6, Ohovbe Market Ward 3, Ologbo Market Ward 10, Oregbeni Market Ward 2, Urora Market 4, Ikpe Market Ward 8, Oro Market Ward 8, Ugbekun and Ekiomwenigho Markets Ward 7 Ogheghe market is a 7-unit market of 12 stalls each totalling 84 open stalls, with toilet and borehole facilities, which has been officially declared open for business on Saturday and is designed to accommodate traders within and outside the Ogheghe community.
Declaring the exercise open with a prayer, the Enogie of Ogheghe Community, HRM M. U. Ogbonmwan expressed gratitude for siting the facility in his community.
Enogie hailed Dr. Eric Osayande for his initiatives while extending words of goodwill to Gov. Godwin Obaseki for providing purposeful leadership Official bankers of the newly-built market.
First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, represented by the Business Manager, RBG, Olusola Olubunmi Bazuaye sensitized attendees and traders on the need to establish bank accounts with the bank Olubunmi lauded.
The Local Government for the opportunity given her institution to serve as official banker Representing the LGA boss at the event, Secretary, NULGE, Ikpoba-Okha, Pst. Jossy Duze admonished the market women, members of the Ogheghe community to exhibit dutifulness in maintaining the facility;
