The fraud is not in the planning of the project but in the quotations.
As head of the economic team, I can categorically say that your actions were only advisory and at most sourcing and facilitation of money or loan for the state.
All bucks stops at the governor's table. You cannot carry the cross for Oshiomhole. Not even now the way things are.
I have heard so much about Obaseki being the head of economic team but I think this does not mean you can not probe the actions of Oshiomhole.
The goodwill you enjoy now Mr governor is not for ever. You need to take some certain actions so that your supporters can continue to hold you in good fate and trust. You must earn it sir.
So far so good we are happy how you have been able to clean our street and ride it of thuggery and callous impunity of agberos . We are indeed grateful to you for it.
However with the political situation now we demand that you set a committee to probe the storm water project and the red Roof revolution. This is important because we are aware of the corruption that shrouded those activities.
The case of the subep was at a time in court and we have not forgotten that a one time director was sacked and prosecuted but your predecessor covered up the case . Up till now we cannot tell of the outcome of that case.
I am reminding you , your Excellency that the probe is for the good for all edo people which you hold allegiance to.
Now that the enemies of the state and Edo people have gathered up against you because you have refused to share the money as before in the past, it is also expedient that you let Edo people know the damage these persons have been doing to the state in the past. It is not enough to allege. This is now beyond just politics but a task to also redeem your name. Or is your name not important to you. The way things are , if you lose the nomination, everything you said will be used against you in future as the liar and incompetent governor.
I have nothing to lose. I am not in gov't and you don't know me. But you have everything to lose. They will call you all types of names. You will end up regretting the actions you refused to take now. It will be their word against yours. That's if you will have the courage to speak up then.
Leave a mark. Leave a legacy. The vultures are not trustworthy birds. They always eat dirty and rotten. Don't let them feast on you. Guide your name jealously. There's everything in a name especially the one you laboured to build in your finance sector over the years.
While I am waiting to hear the good news, I will continue to support you in the hope you will do the right thing.
Edo state is not a private property of one man and no man or woman can therefore decide who the next governor will be except the people say so. God willing.
Lets move Edo forward together.
If the probe reveals nothing new, so be it.
For now lets do the probing. We have a lot of evidences concerning red roof revolution that will shock you to the marrow.
