OSHIOMHOLE ACCUSES OGHUMA OF BETRAYAL...

...as Hon.Oghuma, Aisowierien, Idahosa boycott NASS APC State Caucus Meeting...

Following reports of a purported endorsement of the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole by the Edo  State House of Representatives Caucus of the APC, the member representing Etsako Federal Constituency of Edo State, Hon. Johnson Oghuma may have incurred the wrath of the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the top leadership of the EPM.

This may not be unconnected with the absence of the said lawmaker from the meeting which was called to endorse the National chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole ahead of the National Executive Council meeting of the APC scheduled to hold on Friday. According to confirmed reports from reliable sources close to the EPM leadership, the meeting which was held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja was a failure as majority of the members of the green chambers from Edo state such as Hon. Patrick Aisowierien(Orhionmwon/Uhunmwonde), Hon. Dennis Idahosa (Ovia), and Hon. Johnson Oghuma (Etsako) were said to have been conspicuously absent.

While Hon. Idahosa and Aisowierien were said to have insisted that they do not want to be part of the meeting, Hon. Oghuma was said to have hinged his absence on the refusal of the chairman to attend to more pressing issues like helping him attract federal projects to his constituency but instead chose to engage in a Cold War with the state governor, and that he only spends his time empowering those who wish to antagonize the governor and as a Christian he cannot been seen promoting politics of bitterness and would no longer continue to tow that position as it is no longer comfortable with the yearnings of his constituents.

When word got to the National Chairman and other members of the EPM about the absence of Hon. Oghuma and the reasons for his absence, the National chairman,Comrade Adams Oshiomhole accused him of betrayal and attributed his sudden change of heart to the close relationship Oghuma shares with his estranged godson and Deputy Governor of Edo State, Hon. Philip Shuaibu.

As at the time of filing this report, the National Chairman had instructed Hon. Julius Ihonvbere (Owan) and Hon. Peter Akpatason (Akoko Edo) to release a report on behalf of the other absent members claiming that he had been endorsed as Chairman by them, but unconfirmed reports suggests that the National Chairman is still in panic mode ahead of the NEC meeting as he still fears that he might not survive an imminent removal.
