The leadership of the critically acclaimed and widely renowned Obaseki/ Shaibu Movement (OSM) has again reiterated the suspension of Mr Miracle Ogbebor. In a statement made available to pressmen on the 18th of December, 2019, by the State Leader of the Movement, Hon. Damian Lawani, the leadership of the movement described the recent vituperations of Mr Miracle Ogbebor as not only misleading but ludicrous as the movement has since dropped him as a member and not the other way around.
According to the statement, “Mr Miracle Ogbebor must stop parading himself as a member of the movement as the movement as since dissociated herself from his dealings.
The Obaseki/ Shaibu Movement (OSM) is a body of noble men and people of proven integrity. Charlatans like Mr Miracle must understand this. We do not associate with people of his kind of infamy.
“Miracle Ogbebor is not the founder of OSM. He joined the movement months after its inauguration.
How can he purport to be the founder of a group that existed before he joined? In fact
Miracle Ogbebor was suspended from OSM for defamation of character and lack of the capacity to run a movement of astute individuals like the OSM.
“Also, he was suspended due to his shady dealings and his gross mismanagement of the movement’s funds. He must know that he has questions to answer as regards stolen funds from the movement in due course.
“OSM, again, hereby describes the purported resignation of the suspended member as ludicrous and mischievous. OSM maintains that his attempt to smear the image of the body should be discountenanced. ”
“It is simply a cheap attempt by Miracle and his cohorts to distort the narrative to suit his despicable lifestyle,” it added.
The statement further added that OSM remains a formidable body under the leadership of Hon. Damian Lawani, who has steered the body to rather enviable heights that has dislodged the opposition from every locality in the state.
The movement is one and united.
OSM keeps receiving new members on daily basis and our members have renewed their resolve to deliver the performing Governor Godwin Obaseki and Rt. Hon. Phillip Shaibu in the forthcoming Edo Gubernatorial Elections, the statement added.
