RE: OBASEKI SHOULD HAVE LISTEN

Crusaderhotnews

Dear Chief Julius Achiegbemhioremhore Abuda, greetings from the Obaseki/Shaibu Movement (OSM), which we believe you have full knowledge of as a result of your membership for a long period of time until recently. We saw and decided to read your article with the above caption and was compelled to write a rejoinder because of the inaccuracies it conveyed. First and foremost, we would have loved to ask you a very simple question. After writing that piece and reading through from beginning to the end, where you really proud of yourself? We really do not know, but we are not sure you were proud of yourself, even when it may still be possible for you to be very much proud of yourself, for in a State where a man borrows huge loan of about 200 billion with absolutely nothing to show for it and borrowing more even few weeks to the expiration of his tenure and a century where a person can boldly Commission an empty hospital in  broad daylight, so anything is possible. You could be proud of the shame you called an article.

It was never nice, seeing you write so many lines full of story that makes no sense to even foolish people, for it served as comic relief and that purpose, it may continue to serve anyone who deemed it fit to read it from beginning to the end at his or her free hour.  You must indeed be a professional joker Mr Julius Abuda.

Taking you by what you said, in your very first sentence, that you judge by what you see and not what you heard, could it be that you have Shortsightedness which can be seen as a medical issue that can easily be resolved if not mental and spiritual shortsightedness? Or will it also be right to say that among what you also see, with subjectivity, you selected  "not" what is true, but what will be favourable to your argument? If not, Mr Julius Ayuda, since 2016, didnt  you pass through the popular King's Square in Benin city? If at all you pretended not to have seen the Central Hospital from any angle in King's Square, have you not also seen on television, different protests, agitations  and concern about the huge fraud involved in that hospital which was perpetuated by your new found messiah "Adams Oshiomhole"? Are you not aware of the 30 billion Naira Storm water project funds pocketed by Oshomhole?. Just in case you have also pretended not to watch the video where Oshiomhole eulogised Obaseki for raising his campaign fund and for being the one who gave him (Oshiomhole) the very first N500 million brought to this state in 2006/2007, please use your internet and write another epistle of what you have seen and not heard.

While it is very obvious from your write up and language that you are only very bitter about your removal as a House of Assembly Aspirant and nothing more, we are however disappointed at your level of insincerity, having been an OSM member for months and even lobbying for a position at the beginning of the Movement only to come back here, saying a different thing entirely.

Sometimes Mr. Julius Abuda, the best way to defend oneself in a defenceless situation is simply to keep mute. If we may ask, was there no Etsako spirit when you willingly joined  this Movement as at the time it started when its aims and objectives with modes of operation explicitly expressed your hearing and understanding? Were you not aware of the fact that you were from the same tribe with  Oshiomhole when you were busy lobbying to be the Edo North OSM leader? Why are you really deceiving yourself? Why not tell the public what the real problem is, that you expected that immediately OSM was formed, Governor Obaseki will start pumping Edo state resources into the platform, but to your greatest surprise, days went by, weeks went by, months went by and it is already about a year plus since this Movement started, no dime has come from the State Government into the project, not even transportation, even though the good governor recognizes and constantly appreciates  the good work of OSM which he says it's always a job well done. As a selfish person who was driven by money and nothing more, you could not afford to pay such sacrifice for the betterment of your state without the involvement of money or sponsorship from Government House and was therefore not ready to do it on a voluntary bases without stipends. Worse of it all was that the Governor who had not put a dime in the project refused to promise that he would be doing that in the nearest future, hence, your decision to leave as you could not afford the Selfless service driven by the desire for Good Governance that have brought selfless people from across the state together, not wishing to be paid with the state fund meant for development, but wanting to make a difference in the State through their sustainability of Good Governance inherent in Obaseki/Shaibu Administration.

Come to think of it, did you forget to add that you were even suspended from the same OSM after you were discovered to be a snitch who was OSM in the day and EPM at night just because you did not see financial benefit in OSM? I thought you would have also been sincere enough to at least say something about that in your article, or could that also be one of the reasons you angrily came up with an article after realizing that the OSM leadership were not ready to lift your suspension without being very much sure that you are no longer a snitch feeding EPM with OSM moves all in the name of hunger?  Please tell the people the truth and nothing but the truth for your story makes no meaning as your justification to officially pitch tent with Oshiomhole after doing it secretly for long until your suspension and realization of the fact that the Governor can not afford to spend State resources on the group at the detriment of the State, just because the group is projecting and promoting his Interest.

While we must be sincere enough to confess that at some point, reading your write up became very much interesting as a result of the self contradictions, meaningless statements,  very pointless arguments and a clear exposure of your prejudice towards the issue at stake, we would love to also educate you to always try and ensure your write up correlate with your argument or it is such that can make the public to give you a thumbs up for a sincere submission, not those started in bias and concluded in same form. It was really very funny for you to claim you approached the Governor of Edo state to know what was actually the real issue, yet there was no part of your long epistle where you made mention of a period of time where you also approached the embattled National Chairman of APC who is the engineer of this crisis and the one sponsoring havoc in the State to hear from him what the issue was. Mr Abuda, with this your biased approach, do you really think you should be taken serious as regard this matter by anybody? We know your conscience would not even think so.

We also saw part of your write up where you claimed Adams Oshiomhole called you and apologize to you 3 times for preventing what was yours, and you said till now, Obaseki and Shaibu have not called you as regard same issue. While as a group, we may love to apologize on the behalf of Obaseki and Shaibu for refusing to call you and hand over to you, a brown envelope (which seems to be your grievance) for a sin they did not commit as clearly explained by you, we are however wondering why you feel they should also be at the forefront of an apology mission in a predicament that was never caused by them.

The most surprising and at the same time laughable part of your write up however was where you indirectly claim or posited as the case may be, that Governor Obaseki is the one not wanting Peace to reign or the very person not ready for reconciliation in Edo APC. With the above claim, we are therefore  forced to simply ask, Mr. Abuda where you really in your senses while you were  writing the article or immediately this crisis started, did you go for vacation in the thickest village in Nigeria where there is no light, no television, cell phone, internet, and even radio, only to return few days ago to start making baseless statements that is very much far from the truth and real situation?. Yes, it is only a person who went for vacation in the thickest village in Nigeria where there is no form of civilization that will make such statement and still be proud to share it to the same public very much aware of the several reconciliation moves by the Governor to settle with Adams Oshiomhole, all to no avail. If the embattled National Chairman of APC could see Alhaji Aliko Dangote and the Oba of Benin to be too small to call for peace and disrespected  them after making several attempts to reconcile the two factions even when Obaseki at each point was always available and ready to make peace, then what else do you expect the Governor to do? The Governor even went as far as visiting Adams Oshiomhole both in his village and at different other locations during the early and mid hour of this crisis, just to make Peace, yet, Adams Oshiomhole kept sponsoring saboteurs to destroy the Administration of Obaseki and despised  him before Edo people.

Has anyone forgotten so soon that the most recent reconciliation attempt had a First Class Traditional ruler in Nigeria, Oba of Lagos and many other dignitaries, who ended up being attacked by the same Oshiomhole's thugs in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo state? So, the question is, were you expecting Obaseki to kill himself for Oshiomhole before you will accept the obvious fact that Oshiomhole is the cause of this crisis and still the very one not wanting the crisis to end? Maybe you were also in the same thickest village when Oshiomhole rejected Christmas gift from Edo State Government led by  the kind hearted  Governor of Edo state who is a known man of Peace and a very  gentleman loved by his people. But whatever your problem is, we will advise you to consider spending your time writing the history of South Ibie, even as we will also advise that you start early to be able to explain in details, the traditional wars, how the clan heads were assassinated and how the name Ibie came to be, rather than coming on social media to write stories with no direction, to justify yourself selfishness and hunger.

Finally, as for you and your article, we would not say we are surprised, we are not because you simply played the full script already briefed to us sometime ago. Have you really bothered to ask yourself why you were not given the Edo North OSM leadership you lobbied so hard for at the beginning of this Movement? The truth is, nobody among OSM leadership was against you, but surprisingly, the calls that started flying in from those closer to you, who knew  you better, about the risk of making you OSM leader in Edo North could not be ignored as complains from these people that you were not a trustworthy fellow and a person who plays the role of a sheep and wolves at the same time was becoming too much to overlook. It is of course very much obvious that you did not disappoint those who wrote a Descriptive Essay of your nature and personality. Most importantly, we are very much happy to have given heed to the advice of those who knew you better and never overlooked it to give such a sensitive position to a person who would have ended up killing the Movement because of stomach infrastructure and greediness of the highest order. May I therefore inform you that whatever your political thinking perspective is saying and which ever school of thought you have decided to adopt to drive home your point, we can not afford to allow Oshiomhole destroy Edo state or give him free access to Edo state Commonwealth when he is neither the Governor, Deputy Governor or Secretary to the State Government just because he constructed some roads in Etsako, for tribalism started with Oshiomhole in Edo state and ended since 2016, for you can not be more Etsako than the Deputy Governor who has decided to put tribal sentiments aside and work with Governor Obaseki to Develop the State, make good life possible, improve the standard of living of Edo people and prepare a glorious future and enviable destiny for our youths and the generations of this State yet unborn. Edo Ókpa Nó! And by the grace of God, we are moving Forward.
