An 8 month old baby has been allegedly defiled by her father in Benin city, Edo state.
The defilement was unveiled by the mother of the baby who caught the man fingering the daughter.
Though, they are not fully married but they have been co-habiting for some years now.
The man simply identified as lucky was arrested by the Police in New Benin Division and now transferred to the state CID, Benin.
The mother of the baby who earlier suspected the man of the fingering act then set a phone camera where she monitored the man.
When she caught the man red handed, she then raised alarm, a situation which forced the said father of the baby to instantly smashed the phone.
Upon a closer look, blood stains were observed in the baby,s pants and napkins.
The baby has since been referred to the Police Clinic for medical examination and extensive investigation.
