The Chairman Ovia North East Local Government Area, Honorable Scott Ogbemudia has been commended for placing premium on providing quality healthcare delivery to the people of his local government area.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW) Medical Outreach today at Okokhuo community, the Team Leader of the medical team Mr Evans Ogbomo.
Says more communities to benefit from the free medical outreach currently going on in the local government area.
explain that they; Edos in Diaspora have decided to reach out to necessary body in the country so as to be able to give back to the society by creating a platform where all people will have access to good and qualitative health care.
Revealed that when they heard of the Chairman's Commitment to providing quality healthcare delivery to his people, by building Primary health care centres and equipping of health centres across communities in the Local Government Area, it became imperative that they reached out by partnering with him.
He further revealed that the Chairman support Has being overwhelming And such has made it easy for them to carry out their medical outreach in the local government area.
On his part the Chairman Ovia North East Local Government, Honorable Scott Ogbemudia thank the Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW) Medical team for embarking on the medical outreach most especially for choosing his Local Government Area.
The Council Boss further reiterates his commitment to providing quality healthcare delivery to his people, by partnering with core and professional bodies and also use the available apparatus.
And as well continually engage health workers and caregivers in the local government area in a bid to making them discharge their responsibility professionally thereby safeguarding the healthy living of the people Residing in the Local Government Area.
The Medical outreach, ENAW says it's their way of creating opportunity for many who cannot afford to see a doctor, go to the clinic or even afford to buy medications access good and qualitative health care services.
