A frontline gubernatorial aspirant and former Deputy Governor of Edo State Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu is said to be finalizing arrangement to dump the Edo APC renegade group Edo People's Movement (EPM) where he was a founding patron.
An insider who spoke with ORHION FM in confidence revealed that Odubu is bittered with the decision of the group to concentrate support for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who knows nothing about the anti-Obaseki struggle. He opined that he would have been comfortable with either Ogiemwonyi or Airhiavbere who have sacrificed so much rather than a man extremely desperate for power.
Our source have it that Odubu, Ogiemwonyi and Airhiavbere have since formed alliance for either one of them to be picked or reverse to throw weight behind the Godwin Obaseki led adminstration to frustrate the self serving godfatherism in Edo.
Considering possible intervention by Oshiomhole to pacify or intimidate the Odubu, Ogiemwonyi and Airhiavbere camp of the EPM, the last have not been heard of what the outcome will be as the Governor's camp keeps their cards closed.
Meanwhile, there are indications that supporters of Odubu, Ogiemwonyi and Airhiavbere are beginning to re-align with opponents with some claiming hacked accounts on social media to stay out of sight for the time being.
