A NEW PHASE FOR APGA IN EDO STATE


Amb. Osaro Louis has emerged as the flagbearer of All progressive grand alliance in EDO state, the primary of the party was conducted on the 25th of June 2020; the primary committee led by Bishop (Dr) Joshua Uba presented osaro Louis to the delegates as the lone candidate of the party that scaled through the screening process which began on the 21st of June as stipulated by the national working committee of the party.

As a law abiding party, the primary committee admonished and ensured that the gazette on political gathering was adhered to, as delegates were on facemask and there were buckets of water positioned at the entrance of the hall, the no facemask no entry policy was strictly enforced and maintenance of social distance as well as controlled number at a particular time .

Aspirants were screened meticulously; x-raying their credentials for discrepancies and Osaro/onose emerged as the aspirants , and proceeded to the primary for legality and to fulfil the conditions as set by the national working committee of the great party.

The primary kicked off with a brief prayer, then the introduction of delegates and the primary committee panel, the chairman of the primary committee Bishop (Dr) Joshua Uba proceeded to declare the event open and presented the aspirants for a voice vote and the "yeah" vote of the delegates was overwhelming and no one delegate voted "nah".
In his acceptance speech, Amb. Osaro Louis thanked the national chairman Barr. Mic Adams for his tenacity, fairness and transparency, he stated that this was indeed the most transparent primary witnessed in Njgeria, he promised to continue to sue for peace and that was going to operate an open arm policy and ensure to work with all aspirants ( those who were screened out and those who didn't make it to screening),
   

He urged everyone to work for the success of the party in the forth coming election , he reiterated that APGA would fight till the very end .
 The Deputy governorship apsirant; Engr. (Mrs) Onosetale Mudiaga assured the committee and members that the O2 project was divine and a gender balanced team, as the women were ably represented and indeed this was the voice of the people and the dividends of democracy has come to stay with people as equity was a core values of the O2 team .

Indeed it is worthy to note that these are the youngest candidates in the history of EDO state and it was time to give the youths the mandate to run and represent the yearnings of the people .  Democracy has come to the people of EDO state.
