The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki on his resounding victory at the just-concluded primary election held Thursday June 25, 2020 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, the Edo State capital
A congratulatory message signed by the Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government, Dr. Eric Osayande said "congratulations on your election as our PDP candidate in the September 19 Edo State governorship election; the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government is extremely pleased with the results of the election and is confident that you will serve us meritoriously in the decisions you will make for the continued growth and development of our dear Edo State"
"As Governor of Edo State, you have proven beyond reasonable doubt, through your numerous programmes and policies, that Edo people occupy the front burner in your administration's developmental master plan, your political, developmental and institutional reforms remains very vital instruments for the overall development of Edo State", Osayande added
Speaking further, the Council Chairman commended the Edo State PDP for electing Godwin Obaseki, saying that "the Governor is Edo's best deal"
Expressing optimism that Obaseki/PDP will win landslide in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, Osayande said, "the support you have garnered from Edo people at home and abroad in the last 3 years is a clear indication of your sterling performance, which, obviously, the good people of Edo State are resolute, determined and ready to consolidate by voting massively for you and our great Party, the PDP for another 4-year term"
Dr. Eric Osayande has said that Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, haven benefitted immensely from the Obaseki-led administration, will mount the "electoral frontline" to re-elect Gov. Godwin Obaseki come September 19, 2020
