To will enhance quicker services and choices to our various localities. It will create more jobs as our our productive youths will be trained to maintain and supply services to the mast. With quicker and faster services, the council will train our local business men and women, in conjunction with the Telecom companies to create customers outpost in each ward to service our local users.
This Will create jobs and taxes to the council. The Telecom companies will make more money from data sales as services improve, and our users will be able to market their goods and services online.
This process will give room for SMEs to hire back and front end users to manage their businesses. Each trained out post customer service in each ward to serve as front end will hire up to 2persons based on projections.
As for the back ends, the SMEs who requires to build apps and public service centers will require the services of back end users. With training of our ready hands on youth by the council, the trained staff will be assigned territories to cover.
The funds from services, SMEs and Telecom taxation will be additional revenue to the council.
Secondly, majority of our fathers and mothers are farmers. We will attract Direct foreign/Local investor to establish a cassava processing plant in two to be selected locations.
Hire and Train 3 individuals from each ward to serve as accessor and buyers in our approve PoS.(point of Sale).
To avoid defrauding our people and all parties involved, universally approved scale which will send signal will automatically monitor transaction in head office. With the council in PP, LGR will be generated. This process will create up to 50 direct jobs and more than 100 indirect jobs for our local Govt.
Thirdly, On the healthcare sector, he will work/study with our orhionmwon sons and daughters across the country to figure out how he will get generic drugs to the proposed 6 dispensary units 3 in the south and 3 in the east to our local Govt. Generic drugs will reduce the cost of purchasing brand names medicine, saving cost for the council.
Our people will have access to cheaper medicine in treating first hand sickness,like malaria. Proper auditing method measure will be in place to make sure our medicine are not being sold or stolen.
Fourthly, He Will work with our lawyers from within and outside our locality to review the agreement signed by oil companies with our local Govt regarding the CSR entitled to the host communities and obligations to the council.
As some of us may not know, FLARING by some oil companies within the perimeter of our locality are entitled to compensation. But the oil companies have not been attending to this to due to lack of knowledge or oversight.
He will have the legal team access and take necessary action to bring what belongs to the host communities and orhionmwon council.
On Administration, As one who worked with two great mayor of NYC, Rudy Guiliani and Michael Bloomberg administration, and as MD of company in charge of day to day administration, the experience he has gained over the yrs is to manage and use every resources available. He will not lay off workers but re organize the system and re train the existing workers in various field to meet the scope of work and expectations. He will arm the council system to be calked " council intranet".
This in-house system will enable the council to monitor the productivity of ongoing work with our vendors, giving them access to the regulatory laws, staff performance including time and attendance. This system will also be used in preparing the estimated annual budget proposal to guild the council in re occuring and capital expenditures.
Lastly, Orhionmwon has huge deposit of Clay. This has been ignored for decades. He will study the volume and have investors come to access it and do the needful. He will have investors come with processing plant to create Molded bricks, Dry pressed bricks and Extruded bricks for public consumption. There are various ways he intend to drive orhionmwon to the future.
Hewill lay the foundation to build orhionmwon. The era of just sitting and waiting for allocation and revenue collection is not the only way forward.
We have to grow with development. The economic team are ready and will go to work first day of office when he is voted as chairman. The youth are the future, and the future is now.
