Association of Local Government of Nigeria ( ALGON) Commends the Re-Appointment of Barrister Osarodion Ogie as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

 The Edo State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria *(ALGON)* has issued a congratulatory message to *Barrister Osarodion Ogie* on his re-appointment as the Secretary to the State Government to continue his remarkable service to the people of Edo State just as he did in Governor Obaseki’s first term. 

According to a statement issued in Benin-City this morning by the State Chairman of ALGON, *Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde,* *Barrister Osarodion Ogie* was described as ‘’ unquestionably one of the most experienced, one of the most politically endowed and one of the most dedicated members of the Governor’s successful first term of office.’’

 Continuing, *ALGON* noted that the re-appointment of *Barrister Ogie* was therefore a thoughtful and productive decision by the Governor to ensure a smooth leap into the second term of the administration with someone who already has a profound understanding of the Governor’s vision.’’

 Hon. Osunde remarked that the Edo State Chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria was appreciative of the’’ beneficial relationship and the leadership guidance that *ALGON* received from the *SSG* during the Goverenor’s first tenure.’’ 

*Hon. Osunde who is also the Chairman of Oredo Local Government and all the Chairmen of the Local Government Councils in the State expressed the confidence that the re-appointment of the *SSG* will translate to a continuing catalyzing phenomenon in *Governor Obasaki’s* second term in office .
