Justice Ahmed Mohammed dismissed the suit filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a chieftain of the Party, Williams Edobor, on the conclusion that the plaintiffs failed to prove their allegation of forgery against Gov. Godwin Obaseki Congratulating the Governor,
Osayande said "the Abuja Court verdict which dismissed the suit of alledged certificate forgery against the Governor is new breath for democracy"
"Gov. Godwin Obaseki is a product of the prestigious University of Ibadan, a first generation University; it is appalling to see a group of politicians unjustifiably dragging the performing Governor to court over a matter that died on arrival"
"Well, the court has pronounced, matter has been laid to rest; whereas the politicians can now go back to their cocoon, as it is in Obaseki's character, he will now proceed with providing productive leadership and good governance for Edo people",
