Buhari had on Wednesday embarked on a medical trip to the United Kingdom barely 24 hours before Resident Doctors were billed to commence a total strike over low hazard allowance, poor welfare packages and total neglect of the Healthcare sector.

President Buhari will be spending two weeks to enable him to undergo a medical checkup.

While expressing their displeasure at the medical trip, Omokri,  Okpebholo-Ray and other Nigerians  are protesting at the gate of the Nigeria House brandishing placards with different inscriptions.

Addressing protesters on Friday, Okpebholo-Ray lamented the poor security situation under President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that terrorism has gotten worse under his watch.

“Between 2018 and this time, over 3000 people have been slaughtered. Go to Benue, go Taraba, Southern Kaduna, go to Edo state, go to Delta and even go to Osun state, there is no where or part of Nigeria where you don’t have this terrorism. In the North East they call it Boko Haram, in North West, they call it bandits, in the South it’s called Fulani Herdsmen. Let me tell you one thing my brothers and sisters, they are all the same. ”

The protest was strictly regulated as the security services in London  insisted that the protesters maintain social distancing.
