Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Marcus Onobun has described Senator Ehigie Uzamere as a man of distinction.
The lawmaker made the description while congratulating the distinguished former member representing Edo South at the Red Chamber on the occasion of his birthday celebration on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021.
In the congratulatory message through his Media Assistant, Ambassador Ayemere Michael, Hon. Onobun said: "Distinguished Senator Ehigie Uzamere, you're a man of distinction and your tenure as a member of the upper chamber of the National Assembly would forever be remembered as an era when that wing of the legislative chambers had robust debates concerning the issues of governance.
"You were also known as a game changer on account of the fact that your every pronouncement carried with it the insignia of authority outside the fact that you had a robust contribution to debates on the floor of the legislative chamber.
"My prayer for you is that you continue to reap bountifully from all your undertakings and God bless you with good health, prosperity and long life even as you live to see your great great grandchildren.
"In the new, progressive Edo State being marshalled by the present administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki, your counsel will always be needed in pointing the way in the direction of a prosperous and united state."
