It is rather too unfortunate and laughable that despite all illegalities perpetrated by Chief Dan Orbih and his co travellers in the PDP to truncate the efforts of the recognised committee sent by the National Working Committee to conduct primaries in Edo PDP failed, they have resulted to staging a sponsored protest at the National secretariat of the People's Democratic Party at Abuja to compel the party to issue certificate of return to aspirants in the Dan Orbih group who were absent at the venues of the primaries duly conducted in the State by the committee sent by the National Working Committee.
After failing to procure more Court injunctions to stop the National Working Committee from recognising duly elected candidates of the party believed to be loyal to Governor Obaseki has resulted to self destructive act of creating mayhem and rancour in the party at the period we desire to be United together and deliver our candidates at the forthcoming general elections.
The recent PDP primaries (Gubernatorial, National Assembly & Houses of Assembly) were done last month nationwide. The Party's Gubernatorial Candidates were issued their certificates of return last week.
As for the National Assembly & State Houses of Assembly Candidates, the Party has since sent copies of their primaries results and certificates to the INEC Headquarters...hence, the prompt response by INEC to issue the PDP Candidates (National Assembly) with the INEC Nomination forms, to be uploaded on their website for affirmation.
The State Houses of Assembly PDP Candidates are next in line, after the needed has been done by INEC.
Kindly note that the issuance of the Certificate of Return is strictly a Party internal affair, and it will be issued as at when due, by the PDP to its Candidates. So, worry less about a foreclosed issue.
The Dan Orbih "Structural" Aspirants arrived the FCT (Abuja) yesterday evening, for an unknown mission which has been revealed today to be a sponsored Protest after their failed illegal misadventures in all courts in the FCT and Edo State.
