Nigeria has a 30years cycle of reset, its usually a period when the people say enough is enough. This action has a way of sending signals to the powers that be for them to have a rethink of how the country is being ran.
The challenge is that, those manipulating the country, just change their clothes and take over the system and the oppressive process continues.
Look at history:
1960, Nigeria got her independence which was a decisive moment.
Few years later, 1963 was the beginning of the first Republic of Nigeria which was ruled by different leaders representing their regions as premiers in a federation during this period.
From 1963 to 1993 was 30years; before we had June 12, 1993 there was the SAP Riot of 1989. That was another period of reset with the people saying enough is enough. Another set of persons hijacked the Nigeria system to where we are today.
From 1993 to 2023 would be another 30years which has already been preceeded by the #EndSARS that also signalled enough is enough.
The concern we all need to address now is come 2023, who are those that would be in charge of the Nigeria system?
Are there some persons already positioned to hijack the system for their selfish interest 2023?
We are at the moment calling on Nigerians to research properly before using their PVCs and they must device means on how to hold elected officers accountable.
Above all, Nigerians need to renew their mind set with respect to building Nigeria by doing their own bids in choosing the harder right instead of the easier wrong.

Words are cheap they say. It is doing something that counts.
And nation building is a collective effort that requires every one getting involved by doing something in their various communities.
The question to ask ourselves is: what have we been doing about it?
Changing the seat of government is just one aspect. We all got work to do.
First is to wake up. And waking up means doing a self evaluation.
Then start to work towards what your retrospective session produced.
Then hold yourself accountable every time you catch yourself drifting towards the old way of doing things.
You will quickly discover that the work is not as easy as writing a great blog.
