The Church of God Mission International, CGMi, Ugbekun District headquarters has held her annual harvest thanksgiving on the 13th day of November, 2022 at the district headquarters.
The Pastor of the church, Rev. Akpomiemie who was full of joy charged the parishioners to shun every heavy heart that could lead to tampering with their joy.
The clergyman said, "God has done us well by leading us through the year till this time. So, be full of joy and let your Thanksgiving be acceptable", he said.
The guest preacher, Rev Joseph Bobori who also is a CGMi pastor said, "God works wonders without seeking any human consent. There are miracles and there are special miracles.
"God can change anybody from nobody to somebody. See the case of Moses who ran away from Pharaoh was the one sent to go and lead the Israelites out of Egypt. This is the more reason you must trust God more than ever.
"You are in this harvest thanksgiving for a change. You should be prepared for that change", he said.
On his part, the harvest committee chairman, Brother Osunde Osaigbovo Massy said, "this is a harvest of increase. I adjure my people to learn the act of giving because it is through giving we can be led to receiving.
"Thus harvest which we tagged THANKSGIVING FOR GOD'S KINDNESS AND FRUITFULNESS shows that blessing does not only refers to money", he said.
