The elders of Magodo Community in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, led by the Baa’le, Obalogun Adebawale, have threatened to banish and killed a middle-aged Girl, identified as Ruth Ojewale, over her alleged complicity in lesbianism practice, just have declared her wanted to enable her face the wrath of her ineptitude, two months after she and her lesbian lover escaped.Recalled that the said Ruth Ojewale was said to have engaged in lesbianism with her lesbian lover, by kissing her on the 26th of November 2022 and they abruptly caught by her father who was away to his village but suddenly came back to his house to discover his daughter involving in the practice.
That her father threatened to kill his daughter since she has chosen to soil his name and reputation being a devoted Christian and immediately raised alarm which attracted the attention of the youths in the neighbourhood who rushed to the scene and reported their conduct to the community head who vowed to sanction her and lesbian lover, saying the practice is a sacrilege and is inimical to the wellbeing of the children.
A source privy to the incident said that before the community head delegated the youths to bring her and lover to the community shrine to perform some traditional rituals, the said Ruth Ojewale and her lesbian lover escaped.
That their escape did not go down well with the community head and the elders hence they threatened to kill them for desecrating the land, saying whoever that indulges in lesbianism, gay, homosexual are expected to sleep in the bury ground for seven night and sweep fourteen markets for Thirty-one days to appease the gods and ancestors.
While the order to produce them to kill intensified, both the said Ruth Ojewale and her lover escaped further on the 27th of November 2022 and their whereabout remains unknown as at the time of filing this report but the community elders who are bent on executing their plans vowed not to stop at nothing in ensuring they are killed, just as the father of Ruth Ojewale supported the sanction against his daughter for defying the tradition of the land
