FREE HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR EDO JOURNALISTS

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council in collaboration with JCI Edo Bronze will on February 8 and 9, 2024 organise a 2-day free health care service for members of the union.

The free healthcare services will feature screening for hypertension, diabetes, blood pressure, eye screening and distribution of free eye glasses, Hepatitis B Test, HIV Test, Blood Sugar Test, Cervical Cancer Screening and BMI Check

Officials of the JCI Edo Bronze and other collaborative agencies will deploy medical personnel, with specialisation in various aspects of medicine for the exercise.

Venue: The New Conference Hall, NUJ Press Centre, No.1 Sir Gabriel Igbinedion Way, GRA, Benin City,

Time; 9am each day. 

To make the exercise seamless, the leadership of NUJ has scheduled the days for every chapel to appear for the exercise as follows:

State of the art medical facilities will be deployed for the exercise.  

Chapel leaders are expected to prepare their members for the free medical check-up in line with the time table released above.
