Again, cultists kill man, declares son-in-law wanted in Edo state

One Mr John Omorodion, a Middle aged man has been reported dead following a serious attack in his house, in Benin City, the Edo State Capital.

The incident which occurred recently according to eyewitness is not unconnected with the search for their prime target, one Mr. Ehizogie Omozee, a son-in-law to the deceased.

According to eyewitness account, Mr. Omorodion's refusal to disclosed the whereabouts of his son-in-law led to the hoodlums to seriously attack him which lead to his death 

Speaking with our Crime Correspendent, an eyewitness and one of the occupants of the house were the incident occurred, Mrs. Omoregie Erese, said that the hoodlums numbering about five stormed their residence in a commando-like-style, and demanded the whereabouts of Omozee from his father-in-law.

She maintained that all entreaties made by the deceased to the assailants fell on deaf ears, hence, he was seriously beaten up and later died in the hospital 

The source revealed that they assailants had earlier invaded their residence, where they warned the deceased to either produce his son-in-law else, he will be killed, a threat she said the deceased never taken seriously

It would be recalled that Omozee, has been declared wanted by a suspected cult group. 

All efforts to get reaction from the police proved abortive
