The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Comrade Festus Alenkhe JP.,FSGI.,mnipr will on Friday August 23, 2024 receive the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Benin Branch Distinguished Service Award at the NBA House, beginning at 4pm.
A letter notifying Comrade Alenkhe of the Award stated that the decision was reached through a resolution by the Executive Council of the NBA, Benin Branch.
The letter signed by the NBA Chairman, Nosa Francis Edo-Osagie highlighted Comrade Festus Alenkhe's significant contributions to the growth of objective, forensic journalism and crime reportage as the reason for this recognition.
