The former Director General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Osaro Onaiwu has called on investors in Nigeria and across the world to take advantage of the new opportunities created by the Imo Economic Summit, noting that Imo State has now opened up as a growing investment hub.
He also commended the Governor of Imo State for the successful hosting of the summit, describing it as a major step forward in shaping Imo State’s economic future and unlocking new areas of growth and development for the people.
The summit recorded positive outcomes and positioned Imo State as a rising investment location in Nigeria. It attracted major business interests, secured attention for more than 200 million dollars in agro export opportunities, and focused on key areas such as agro processing and renewable energy.
Onaiwu said these developments have created real momentum for Imo State to grow into a strong economic centre, bringing progress, jobs, and wider opportunities for the people. He encouraged Imo people across Nigeria and around the world to take advantage of the opening created by the summit, noting that this is a moment for participation and development.
He added that this is not a time for partisan politics, but a time for unity and shared purpose, as the gains from the summit can be expanded and strengthened for the benefit of all.
Onaiwu commend the Governor, Sen Hope Uzodinma and the people of Imo State on the success of the summit and expressed hope that the progress made will continue to advance the state.
