The Executive Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government, Dr. Eric Osayande has bagged the Hill City Award as the best Local Government Chairman in Edo State for the year 2019
The award which was received by a representative of the Council Chairman, Barr. Osagie Igbinomwanhia, Secretary to the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government on Sunday 16 February, 2020 at the Hill City Christian Centre, Ugbor, Benin City is in recognition of Dr. Eric Osayande's immense impact to humanity
On the award plaque reads "Hill City Awards presented to Dr. Eric Osayande in recognition of your immense impact to humanity; you are hereby awarded the best Local Government Chairman in Edo State for the year 2019"
The Hill City award comes on the hills of the Midwest Tempo Local Government Chairman of the year award for which Dr. Eric Osayande equally emerged best Chairman in Edo State a few weeks ago in Benin City, the Edo State capital
Earlier, Lead Pastor, Hill City Christian Centre, Rev. Olu Martins described Osayande as a "paradigm shift in the business of governance"
"The Council Chairman has successfully carved his name in gold plate; haven gone through his various works across the Local Government Area, one can best say that his imprints in the different sectors is a clear reflection of what modern governance should be"
While commending Rev. Olu Martins and the Hill City Christian Centre for finding Osayande worthy of recognition, Barr. Igbinomwanhia described Olu Martins "as an institution who have carved a niche for himself in the development business"
"Dr. Eric Osayande sends his warm regards and sincere appreciation for your objective selection process; Igbinomwanhia noted that the most remarkable thing about the various awards the Chairman has received is that he had not met physically with the various insitutions presenting the award; he further revealed that in the case of Hill City and Midwest Tempo, the Chairman's Press Secretary, Eseosa Ewere only transmitted the nomination paper which the Chairman studied and gave his approval"
