The Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Governor on Community Development from Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo was yesterday given an award of Merit by the Hope-Osa Foundation in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the welfare of the less-privileged in the society.
Presenting the award, The Proprietor of the Non-governmental Organization, Comrade Hope-Osa Ehibor said Hon Osaigbovo earned the award, considering his antecedence of always helping the people as well as his constant stance for truth and justice.
Hon Osaigbovo dedicated his Award to his father, mentor and political benefactor, Hon Dcn Newman Ugiagbe who has constantly guided him politically. He also thanked Orhionmwon sons and daughters for their support towards his political journey so far.
Speaking further, Hon Orobosa extended his appreciations to Rt Hon Patrick Asiowerien, the Apex Leader of Orhionmwon Local Government Area for his inclusiveness of the young in polity of the Local Government, which according to the Awardee birthed his opportunity to serve. He prayed God to continue to give him the requisite wisdom to take us to "the promiseland".
