The former Commissioner and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in respect of Chief Charles Idahosa in the state of Edo who have expressed his gratitude to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and the major party leader, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the intervention in the political sphere and crisis in Edo state ahead of their Primaries in June 22, 2020.
In a chat with some reporters, Charles Idahosa in his speech also commend the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki for hearing advises and listening to the wise leaders of the party, APC and making it possible peace reigns.
Calling Oshiomhole a betrayal in his speech after submitting his nomination form on Thursday, Godwin Obaseki have warned that Oshiomhole should not interfere in the primaries when it will hold in the state come June 22.
Also, Idahosa claimed Oshiomhole is not someone to trust in the party despite the development and rise in crisis happening in the state especially the party and he promise not to take things easy with whats happening in the All Progressive Congress (APC).
According to records, Chief Charles Idahosa have worked with Adams Oshiomhole as a former Political Adviser. He said that the former Labour Leader and his loyalist in Edo People's Movement (EPM) are determine to oust Governor Godwin Obaseki all happened not because of he refusal but plan to share the state's revenue and resources to them all.
Idahosa added that it was a great idea for Governor Obaseki to meet with President Buhari and also meeting with the national leader Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the APC's state house in Marina, Lagos state. Also, putting to it, he said due to the advice given to the Governor, he take to it and never to practice what Oshimhole have in mind with them.
To make peace reign in Edo state, especially the coming primaries in the state, they are aware that President Buhari met with Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and try as much as possible to make peace among those having issue in the state which includes Oshiomhole and Godwin Obaseki.
Recall that, Godwin Obaseki and other five (5) aspirants have submitted their nomination forms and expression of interest to contest for the post of the governorship in Edo state.
Each form sell at N22.5 million (expression of interest to contest is N2.5 million and nomination form sells at N20 million) summing it to N22.5 million to be part of aspirants to contest for the governorship sit.
