On the foregoing note, our attention has been duly drawn to a recent social media publication currently peddled around headed

wherein the authors solicited for financial support from well-meaning Nigerians to ameliorate the sorry health plight of Mr. Prince Iyen Ehis.
While at the face this said publication appears commendable, one does not need to be a prophet or of high political wit to decipher that it was carefully camouflaged to disparage and sling mud on the reputable personality and integrity of the Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Roland Asoro which he has sacrificially built over the years on the altar of handwork, honesty, passion for the people and selflessness.
The health and life of Mr. Iyen is sacred and should not be subject to disguised politicking.
We therefore condemn this latent attack on Honourable Asoro using an issue as delicate and sensitive as this.
The authors of the publication did not indicate avenues to reach out to Mr Iyen, account numbers for donation and other details that normally accompany such solicitation messages but instead continued to make reference to Rt.Hon Roland Asoro throughout the gamut of the publication.
Rt.Hon Roland Asoro has made/is making serious efforts to aid Mr. Ehis Iyen as he is very compassionate and sympathetic with Iyen's plight haven worked with him overtime.
Due to Asoro's respect for Mr Iyen he is not inclined to make public the various levels and degrees of assistance rendered to Iyen and his family thus far.
Rt.Hon Roland Asoro reassures the family of Iyen of his continuous support to gets back on his feet hale and hearty again.
