EDOCSO PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO CLEEN FOUNDATION OVER DEMISE OF FOUNDER

Members of Edo Civil Society Organisations led by the Interim TEC Chairman, Bishop (Dr.) Anthony Ochei paid a condolence visit to the Benin office of CLEEN Foundation to commiserate with the foundation over the passing away of Its amiable and visionary founder, Late Mr. Innocent Chukwuma. 


The coalition was received by Cleen Foundation's state coordinator, Mrs Blessing Eromon.  Bishop Ochei expressed profound remarks to the Foundation as regards its departed founder, owing to the fact that he lived a life of service to humanity and by it we are challenged to also make positive imparts.

 

He went further to articulate that by the wisdom of the Creator, we all will depart this world someday, however, what shall we be remembered for, he asked. He reminisced on the various projects EDOCSO have collaborated with Cleen Foundation geared towards having an effective and functional justice system in Nigeria which can be traced to the vision of the departed. 


Speaking on behalf of the foundation, Mrs. Blessing Eromon expressed the foundation's gratitude to the leadership and members of Edo Civil Society Organisations for the overwhelming show of solidarity as expected. She said EDOCSO steps are not a surprise to her, which accordingly are always unique, admirable, inspiring and noble. She took the visitors on the life, time and personality of the departed whom she said will be greatly missed. She also shared the vision of the foundation which she opined had brought a turnaround and change in the several thematic areas they have been working in the country. 


She went on to recount her experience with the activities of Edo Civil Society Organisations as well as the warm disposition of its members when their office opened in Benin City also sharing same office with EDOCSO. She further stated that our cordial and effective relationship will continue and only wax stronger. She also assured that the condolence visit will be communicated to their headquarters.


Prayers were offered by all passionately led by the Interim Tec Chairman, Bishop (Dr) Anthony Osadolor Ochei for the Foundation as well as the deceased family and for successful burial activities. The condolence register was signed  by members of EDOCSO as well as a group photograph was taken with foundation staff.
