On Saturday the 15th day of January 2022 Edo Civil Society Organisations held it first General Meeting of the calendar year.
The meeting which held in Benin City was attended by comrades from different locations. The meeting kicked off with solidarity songs saw members full with ectacy and live.
Leftist Keshi Lawrence presided over the meeting in the absence of our Interim TEC Chairman who was unavoidably absent.
He welcomed comrades to the new year and appreciated their efforts and commitment previous year.
The activities of members of Edo state waste management board was discussed as comrades noticed their continuous activeness even after the court judgement.
The house was also informed of a proposed protest that might likely take place in the month of February.
He asked comrades to be prepared as information will be passed subsequently.
Difficulties faced by transporters in the area of multiple ticketing was discussed and the suggested a letter of recommendation to be sent to the Governor on the subject matter followed by visitation to the various local government offices.
New members were received in the meeting.
