The level of underdevelopment in Orhionmwon is sighted from the view that we do not possess leadership with resourcefulness but the leadership of enrichment, brown paper inducement and blind loyalty.
Orhionmwon is bleeding but unfortunately it will never stop bleeding until we identify the wound, apply medication and place on it a bandage. This is the simple illustration of what we ought to do to stop Orhionmwon from bleeding.
Orhionmwon local government can boast of great leaders who have been at the helm of affairs but cannot boast of their relevance in how much they have drawn and attracted development in Orhionmwon.
Orhionmwon is seriously in a State of emergency cause at a daily basis its resources are being extracted to develop and turn other areas to cities while it remains a purely rural settlement. Until we do something about it, we will never see progress, until we stop blind loyalty, we will continue to cry for help, until we send good people to represent us, we will surely remain where we are and until we awaken our consciousness, we will keep repeating mistakes and remain stagnant.
Our youth rain praises on politicians in Orhionmwon because of the little token and stipends they get from them that is not equivalent to what they spend on their families and the quality of life they give to their families.
They keep on using the little N10,000 they give to you to amount millions of naira and you are in the streets shouting "Leader, Chair, Epa, Clear road, Capacity" ,,,,, and they will get into their inner rooms and lock you out. When will Orhionmwon youth get wiser?
I would love to mention names but will be reserved for a later date. Some of our Orhionmwon youth are the reasons our leaders are not championing development for us cause they value the N10,000 they get and the shortlisting of their names on Political appointments than the development that is eagerly needed in our local government.
Until we awaken that consciousness in us, we will never see the light in development and the change we seek begins with retiring some of these greedy Orhionmwon leaders most especially the chronic ones like the one I boldly sighted on my article against Elder Ben Oghumu whose greed and selfish Political lifestyle has kept Orhionmwon bleeding for long and his gullible supporters that haven't benefited nothing from him are making a rejoinder.
I read it and smiled because it was unintelligibly written, liased with lies and acted upon to feed the worms in their bellies. Very mischievous and watery but I will save this for the last.
I am not scared of speaking up and writing and it just started because alot of hidden records will be brought open to your knowledge.
I am Orhionmwon, I love my local government and I want Orhionmwon to develop. Any obstacle on my way in achieving this will be openly exposed and it's what I do for living.
Let's retire greedy politicians in Orhionmwon now to save the local government from further decay. Stop being enticed with bags of rice, stipends, Political appointments and other forms of inducement. We must save Orhionmwon for the future of our unborn generation.
