The speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly honorable Marcus Onobun has led members of the Seventh Assembly on a condolence visit to the family of the late House of Representatives member Hon Jude Ise-Idehen.
Rt Hon MarcusOnobun noted that the deceased was a sagacious man who has contributed to the development of his constituency and Edo state in general.
The speaker said the death of Hon Ise-Idehen is a great loss not just to the family but to Edo State as well as the PDP family.
According to Rt Hon Marcus Onobun “death is an innevitable end for all mankind but the most important thing is for every individual to live well”
On his part, the majority leader honorable Henry Okhuarobo stressed that the death of the lawmaker came as a shock to him and many.
“We were never informed if he was sick, hospitalized or anything. As a direct successor I am more pained of his death.”
Hon Okhuarobo noted that late Jude Ise-Idehen was a two time member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
The lawmakers prayed for repose of the soul of the late legislator, and prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
On hand to receive the visiting lawmakers was the brother to the departed legislator Mr. George Idehen; who showed appreciation to the team led by the honorable Speaker for remembering their family in this time of grief.
