The source further said that one of the cultists was insisting that the stubborn intents of the said Chuks Godwin, was sending him to early grave because they had initially made several attempts to initiate him but he refused, pointing out that fortunately for the innocent family, the voice of one of the killer cultists called Kelvin who happens to be friend of late Chuks Godwin and usually comes to the house, was heard and identified.

The source on more serious note said that Lucky Uche Godwin, because of fear of being killed pretended not to know anybody and before he knew what was going on, the cultists shot his cousin, Chuks Godwin on his chest

He added that Lucky Uche Godwin was able to raise alarm which drew attention of his neighbors to help in rescuing his dying cousin after the killer cultists had left the scene and Chuks Godwin was adequately rushed to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The source explained that Lucky Uche Godwin quickly reported the case at Textile Mill Police Station and told the police that voice of one of the cultists, who was a friend to his late cousin, Chuks Godwin, was identified and it was on that premise the police swooped on them and arrested Kelvin and his members of the gang and upon raid to his house, the police recovered arms and ammunition, and other dangerous weapons including hard drugs and they confessed to the crime

The source said that fortunately for the said Lucky Uche Godwin and his wife and children, on the 15th of March, they had already gone for night vigil at the Redeemed Church in Abuja, when some armed men invaded their house and demanded their whereabout from Osas and disappointed by their absence, the armed men who were later known to be Aiye Confraternity Cult members angrily attacked and injured Osas and that it took intervention of the people in the neighborhood to rescue and rushed him to Garki General hospital where he was resuscitated after falling into coma.

He noted that Osas was able to explain what transpired after he had recovered and started to narrate his ordeal saying the cultists use machetes and other dangerous weapons to injure him thinking he was dead before they left him in his pool of his blood.

The source also said based on the ceaseless intimidation and attacking, Osas advised Lucky Uche Godwin and his family to escape from Abuja since their lives no longer safe and they went to Lagos where one Pastor Benjamin, a friend to a Benin City based Pastor Michael assisted the innocent family to secure accommodation after the pleading from Pastor Michael and while the family was on their way to Lagos, Lucky Uche Godwin found out from the police at Textile Mill Road Police Station the extent of their investigations and possibly if any arrest had been made, but the police said that they were on top of the matter and that no suspect had been arrested at that moment but investigations were on going to unravel the circumstances leading to their ceaseless threats and attacks.

The source further added that while they were in Lagos, one day, after the family had further escaped, Pastor Benjamin noted that on the 16th of April, the Aiye Confraternity Cult members who spread their membership across every nook and cranny, was at home when they invaded his residence and demanded him to produce the family to kill but he replied them that the family had escaped but the angry cultists who felt embarrassed attacked him and injured him but was lucky not to be killed.

Pastor Benjamin while regretting the attitude of the cultists on innocent people however appealed to the relevant authorities, especially the governments and the security agencies across the country to put up a formidable architecture to address the trend, saying it is giving the country bad image before international community.
