The Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Asue Ighodalo and his running mate, Osarodion Ogie were endorsed by the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Edo State and Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria (PFN) Edo State.
The endorsement came at an event in Benin City, Edo State where the gubernatorial candidate and other government functionaries including the First Lady of Edo State, Dr. Mrs. Betsy Obaseki were in attendance.
The Associations threw their weight behind the PDP candidates as a result of its conviction that they possess the right quality, efficiency, competence and vision to drive a sustainable development in the State.
A prayer session was offered to the candidates by the chairman of CAN, Edo State chapter, Apostle General, Dr. Irekpono Omoike after the endorsement by the Associations.
