Ward 8 shutsdown for Asue-Ogie, as Ikpoba-Okha campaign council rakes-in massive support

The ongoing Ward-to-Ward tour of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the Ighiwiyisi-led campaign council has continued to rake-in numerous supporters from across the board; Ward 8, which fell in the bag of victory on Wednesday is the latest of the tour, with the traditional class, communities and market women in the Ward hailing Osayande for his works, reiterating their determination ahead September. 


The Enogie of Idogbo expressed gratitude for the genuine love and care Osayande has shown him and his community over the years, His Royal Highness noted that during his mother's funeral, Osayande played the role as if it was his own; Enogie hailed the Chairman, gave his royal blessing to the campaign council, and assured of the overwhelming support of the good people of Idogbo. 


Idogbo market women were not left out in the all-important tour, as the campaign council crossed over from the Enogie's palace, upon receiving his blessing. 


The Idogbo market women who are major beneficiaries of the Osayande market money programme were in uncontrollable joy, displaying ecstatic feelings upon sighting the Council Chairman; they lauded his works, requested for more, and assured of greater support and massive votes for Asue-Ogie, September. 


"Our votes are for you, we see your works, we are major beneficiaries and we will do everything possible to get 100% vote for Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie, this September. 


The team moved thereafter, to Egba community where a large crowd of youths were in the wait to receive the campaign council; it was a flurry of endorsements, support and solidarity as the good people of Egba community in Ward 8, elders women and youths assured of massive support; the Ikpoba-Okha campaign council has attracted more support and solidarity for Asue-Ogie, more than any campaign organization in Edo State. 


"We are with you, go and seal other areas; Egba is 100% Asue-Ogie, and that will be exhibited in the field this September", the community declared. 


Highpoint of the tour of Ward 8 on Wednesday was the visit to Egba market; it was a flurry of praise songs poured on the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman and the campaign council, underlining their overwhelming, irreversible, unwavering, and undivided support for the Asue-Ogie brand. 


The market women numbering over one thousand were seen brandishing their PVCs back and forth, left and right, in readiness for Asue-Ogie. 


Recall that few months ago, the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman built and commissioned a new market for Egba market women, a development that has seen to the expansion of the existing market structure, for which the market women came out in their numbers on the day of the commissioning to take over their new facility amidst joy and praise; they have said September will be a most appropriate opportunity to reward and thank the Ikpoba-Okha local government Chairman, for his works in Egba. 


Meanwhile, Osayande has said Egba market women are next in line to receive their market money, which will be distributed before the September election; Osayande stated further that his administration will, after the election, tear down the old Egba market structure, and rhyme it up with the new one he has built and commissioned months ago, which had the PDP State Chairman, Dr. Tony Aziegbemin, and other Party stalwarts in attendance. 


Over four thousand market women across various markets in the LGA has benefitted of the Osayande market money, with lots more in the wait to pick their share, with heartwarming testimonies pouring in from different markets in the locality. 


Truthfully, Ward 8 was a shutdown for Asue-Ogie on Wednesday, as the campaign council continue to rake-in massive support for the duo ahead September. 


Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman, Dr. Eric Osayande, a former Member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Ikpoba-Okha Constituency, Hon. Henry Okhuarobo, Vice Chairman, Osamuyi Idehen, Director General, Ikpoba-Okha Campaign Council, Pst. Blessed Ighiwiyisi, Vice Chairman, Ikpoba-Okha PDP, Pst. Paul Osazuwa, women leaders, and other top political office holders, members and exco of Ward 8, including the Ward 8 Councilor were amongst persons on tour of the Ward. 


Leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Kingsley Balogban and Secretary to Local Government, Barr. Osagie Igbinomwanhia, were also in attendance. 


And as the Ward-to-Ward tour continues, with Wards 9 and 10 preparing to fall in the bag of victory for Asue-Ogie in the coming days, Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are already bubbling in victory for the PDP/Asue-Ogie ahead the all-important September guber poll.
