The 2024 International Men Convention of the Empowered Christian Men Fellowship International (ECMFI), Church of God Mission International (CGMI) has come and gone.
However, there were a lot of takeaways from the convention, themed: *Focus on Christ for the Supernatural “Overcoming Difficult Times.”*
The speakers, who addressed diverse areas relating to the theme, included Bishop Wale Ajayi, Rev. Dr. Charles Apoki, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ameh, Barr. Emmanuel Oribhabor, Barr. Andrew Lawani, Prof. Kayode Oke Amb. Prof. Joseph Legend Mfor and Pastor Paul Dickson Erimiakhia.
Rev. Eghosa Igunbor, Fellowship international president, setting the tone for the convention, advised the men to always pray for grace to overcome difficult times rather than to pray against difficult times, which, to him, has always been part of life.
Apoki, guest speaker for a second time after featuring in 2022 Men International Convention, held the empowered men spell-bound speaking on what he titled: SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF MANAGING DIFFICULT TIMES, listing them as *Reliance on God, Instructions, Instinct, Information, intuition, inspiration and impartation.*
The medical doctor/international conference speaker also engaged the men, defining and expanding what he termed: The Philosophy of the Ants, The Principle of Gradualism and The Dynamism of Wealth Creation.
He leveraged his entrepreneurial and financial know-how, investments and other numerous achievements to inspire or spur the men to take steps beyond just hearing powerful messages.
Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa counselled the men about how to achieve a blissful marriage, referencing Ephesians 5:22 - 25.
