PDP set to organise conference "Fix PDP to Fix Nigeria '

The People's Democratic Party like minds, has announced the "Fix PDP to Fix Nigeria" conference, scheduled to hold on Oct 8 in Abuja.

This was disclosed in a press statement signed by Princess bolanle Ogundiran , on Wednesday in Abuja 

The conference aims to rebuild and rebrand the People's Democratic Party (PDP), foster unity among party members and stakeholders, develop strategies for effective governance and national development, and promote accountability and transparency within the party.

According to him,the conference aims at building a unified and stronger PDP, inculcate 

improved party governance and encourage accountability.

Also, the conference will enhance policy development and implementation and increase public engagement and participation.

"This conference is a crucial step towards rebuilding our great party and restoring Nigeria's lost glory. We invite all stakeholders to join us in this collective effort."he added.

The event which is to hold at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre, on the 8th of October in Abuja will target PDP members and stakeholders,political analysts ,experts,civil society organizations and media representatives.

Conference Agenda

The Keynote Address will focus on "Rebuilding the PDP: Challenges and Opportunities"

There will be panel discussions on "Party Governance and Accountability- Breakout Sessions:

"Policy Development and Implementation"

 "Public Engagement and Participation"

 "Intra-Party Conflict Resolution"

Special Presentation: "The Role of Technology in Party Governance"

Distinguished Speakers are : Senator Abba Moro, former Minister of Interior and Senator representing Benue North-East

Honorable Kingsley Chinda, Member, Nigerian House of Representatives, representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency of Rivers State.

Senator Sanusi Daggash, former Minister of Works

Senator Abdul Ningi, Senator representing Bauchi

Senator Natasha Akpoti, Senator representing Kogi

Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, Former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs

"Kabiru Tanimu Turaki is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs. "

He served as Supervising Minister of Labour from 2014 to 2015 and is the current Chairman of PDP Former Ministers’ Forum of Nigeria. Turaki is a member of Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees.
