An expert has described *communication* as a building block for any organization.

In simple terms, he likened a family as a building block to a society.

For the Empowered Christian Men Fellowship International (ECMFI) of CGMI, therefore, communication represents a powerful tool to grow and strengthen the men's fellowship.

Fellowship’s International President, Rev. Eghosa Igunbor, certainly was not unaware of this underlying importance of communication to the fellowship when he accorded priority to the complaint about the dearth of information during the MENCON 24.

Responding to the complaint, Rev. Igunbor formally announced the creation of the *ECMFI National Network Forum* on the WhatsApp platform, appealing to members from all over the country to take advantage of the new platform, not only to access information directly from the fellowship leadership but also to drop their suggestions for the attention of the leadership

Some attendees had complained about dearth of information, with some claiming that they were only aware of the convention or convention details a month or two before the convention.

The complaint about the lack of information first came to the fore when the presidential team led by Fellowship's International President, Rev Eghosa Igunbor paid a mobilization visit in June 2024 to Ekhewuan Bishopric in Benin City where members called for a general or national platform to enable them access information directly from the fellowship leadership without any form of inhibitions.

Members contended that the national platform would not only afford them the opportunity to receive constant updates on the policies and programmes of the fellowship, but would also help them hold their leaders accountable for any default or leadership failure.

Already, the new platform has recorded over 400 members, targeting 1,000.
