It was celebration galore as activities marking the 10 year anniversary of investment and community small scale empowerment program and commissioning of ultra modern printing press company in Esan central local government area of Edo State held on Tuesday.
Renowned philanthropist, Comrade Isesele Kelvin Aigbokhan - Bossu, empowered over seventy (70) constituents with motorcycles, sewing machines, hair dryers, cash gifts and other sundry items worth millions of Naira.
The event, which took place at the ultra modern printing press premises at Idumebo-Irrua, attracted dignitaries from all works of life including political leaders, captain of industries, religious leaders, traditional leaders and women and youth leaders.
Speaking at the occasion, the father of the day, General Cecil Esekhaigbe, Edo Central Senatorial District All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, welcomed everyone to the event. He eulogised Comrade Isesele Kelvin Aigbokhan for being consistent in the empowerment of constituents for the past 10 years.
The retired army general commended Bossu for building such an ultra modern printing system company with the state of the art machine. He noted that it will employ a lot of youths in the local government.
He prayed to God to continue to substain and give the philanthropist good health to continue to do more for his people, while advising him to remain focused and never be distracted
Other speakers at the event include Prince Williams Shaka Momodu, APC leader Esan Central local government; RT. Hon. Joseph Ikpea, APC Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant; Hon. Sam Oboh, former Esan North local government chairman; Hon. Theophilus Okoh and others, who commended Comrade Isesele Kelvin Aigbokhan-Bossu for his foresight in wealth creation, business establishment and sustaining the enabling environment while at the same time calling on other youths to emulate him.
They also thanked him for putting smiles on the faces of the constituents for the past ten(10) years, praying to God to continue to bless him with sound health and longevity to continue in putting smiles on people's faces.
A beneficiary of the empowerment programme Mr. Nicholas Ikuenobe, thanked the Comrade Isesele Kelvin Aigbokhan BOSSU for the gesture, describing him “as a man of the people, who uplifts the lives of his people.”
Mr Nichols added, “I want to sincerely thank him and I pray that God continues to be with him.”
Another beneficiary, Ojieyoba Blessing, who got a sewing machine, promised to use the item judiciously.
Speaking earlier at the event, the president and founder, Comrade Isesele Kelvin Aigbokhan-BOSSU, thanked the people, the leaders and God Almighty for the support in the past 10 years of business and community small scale empowerment programs.
He underscored the critical role of empowering people and youth in promoting sustainable development and alleviating poverty.
He said, he will continue to invest in the most vulnerable community members to forge a brighter future for all. He called on the beneficiaries, seized this opportunity and utilized the items and resources made available to them judiciously and effectively.
