Edo tribunal adjourns case to 28th January, as PDP/Asue-Ogie anticipates victory in court

The Justice Wilfred Kpochi-led 3-member Edo election petitions tribunal has adjourned case to Tuesday January 28, 2024 for resumed hearing.

Having fielded witnesses of the PDP on Friday, during which the fraudulent addition of 5,530 votes for APC/Okpebholo in Egor local government area was exposed, backed by compelling exhibits, a development that has caused cold feet within the APC/Okpebholo circle.

PDP/Asue-Ogie are challenging APC/Okpebholo's INEC-facilitated victory in the September 21 Edo governorship election; evidence before the tribunal, all CTCs, suggests massive electoral fraud for which APC/Okpebholo riminally benefitted.

So far, PDP/Asue-Ogie are coasting on victory ground, as APC/Okpebholo continue to face significant embarrassment and setbacks in failed attempts to defend their stolen electoral victory in court.

Edo people are urged to continue to maintain peace, as the tribunal's avowed commitment to do the right thing is equally causing ripples within the APC.
