The court case instituted by leftist activist Omobude Agho, alongside Edo civil society organisations, has been adjourned following what was described as improper filing of some court documents by the legal team representing the appellants.
The legal team is led by Barrister President Aigbokhan.
According to information made available in a statement concerning the proceedings, the adjournment was necessitated by filing issues involving some of the required documentation submitted by the appellants’ lawyers.
The appellants are expected to take the necessary steps to regularise the affected documents ahead of the next hearing.
A notice communicating the new date for the court hearing will be made available accordingly.
