Hon osayande vows to make 2nd edition of Oba Ewuare II cultural dance competition historical.
The Executive Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government, Dr. Eric Osayande has on Tuesday delivered 200 hundred chairs to Ikpoba Primary School; this is geared towards improving the educational standard at the school; Ikpoba Prince School is a government-owned school located off Lucky Way, Ikpoba Hill, Ward 1, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Benin City
Ikpoba Primary School ranks amongst the four (4) Primary Schools revamped by the Osayande-led administration; others are Avbiama Primary School Ward 5, Obazagbon Primary School Ward 8 and Ogbekpen Primary Schhol Ward 9
While receiving the chairs into the newly-built block of classrooms, Ikpoba Primary School’s headmistress Mrs. P. Omokhegbele stated “we are thanking the Local Government Chairman for a work well done; we pray that God will continue to use him; as the children are happy he will be happy all through his life”
While appreciating the Council Boss for revamping their school environment, Halimat Mustapha and Onyekachi Adimabua both pupils of Ikpoba Primary School expressed satisfaction over the level of work done; they appreciated the Local Government Chairman and expressed hope for more developmental initiatives
In another development, the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman has revealed that the Local Government will host the 2nd Edition of the Oba Ewuare II Cultural Dance Competition and the Governor’s Cup May this year; he made this known at the Local Government Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday at Idogbo
