The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government wish to reiterate the presence of the novel COVID-19 around us
We must not undermine the possibility of the dreaded #CORONAVIRUS metres away from us; while we continue to pray for its total extermination from our Local Government Area in particular, Edo State, Nigeria and the rest of the world in general, it is more important to continually maintain the basic preventive hygiene as clearly spelt out by the World Health Organization (#WHO) and other relevant health institutions
High fever, regular sneezing, dry cough, running nose, total weakness etc are basic symptoms of COVID-19
Regular hand-washing, application of alcohol-base hand sanitizer, avoidance of a gathering of 20 or more persons, social distancing of 2 to 3 metres, wearing of face mask, hand gloves, no hand shakes and no hugging, coughing into the elbow, do not engage in indiscriminate self-medication when feeling discomfort are part of measures to curtail the spread of the pandemic
