UPDATED: Obaseki does not vote in Idia College where election was disrupted- Governor's aide

Crusaderhotnews

‘Obaseki votes at Emokpae Model Primary School, not Idia College’

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, does not vote in Idia College, where the voting process was disrupted.

The report alleging that the Governor Obaseki was at Idia College where voting was disrupted is false and malicious as he does not vote there.

The governor cast his vote in Emokpae Model Primary School at 11.14am, along Mission Road at which point voting had only just started and returned to his home afterwards. Idia College is along Iyaro, in Benin City, a totally different location.

The report alleging the contrary is malicious and should be disregarded by the public.

The governor is committed to peaceful, free and credible conduct of the polls in Edo State and does not condone violent conduct anywhere.
